Novel CORONA VIRUS / ISLAMIC POINT / symtoms / precautions / history / threat / countries predating with A BRIEF OVERVIEW

INTRODUCTION

Commonly called CoV. IT is a contagious disease. It typically affects the respiratory tract of mammals including humans. CoV causes illness ranging from common cold to severe disease such as SARS-CoV & MERS-CoV. CoV is a new strain that has not previously identified in humans before. Some scientists are saying it a biological war against china. Because china is well established & developed country & surely there are many powers who want to demoralize the values of china…..although china is unable to discover its medicine yet…

CHEMICAL COMPSITION:

                            CoV family is called as CORONOVIRIDAE is comprised of 2 subfamilies.

·       One family is coronovirinae contains a substantial number of pathogens of mammals & birds that cause variety of diseases like pneumonia & hepatitis etc.

·       Second subfamily is TOROVIRINAE .that contains pathogens of both terrestrial & aquatic animals 

                Coronovirus are subclinical they have been described in swine cattle horses camels cats dogs etc .CoV are zoonotic means that can  be transmitted from animals to people.

MERS-CoV is a single stranded RNA virus. It can be caused by closed contact with the infected person. MERS is called Middle East respiratory syndrome

SARS-CoV can cause severe illness with marked pain, headache,& fever followed by 2 to 14 days by mainly cough ,dysnpea,& pneumonia etc.SARS is called severe acute respiratory syndrome

HISTORY

 First case of corona virus has been identified in late 2019 December in central china WUHAN city. It is rapidly increasing & spreading to others countries &killing hundreds of people.

                  Up to now there are total 156930 cases while 5839 patients have been died & 75937 patients have been recovered There are 75154 active cases out of which 92%  are in mild condition & 8%    in severe condition.

Besides china CoV is also predating in many countries including Pakistan, USA, UK, INDIA, BANGLADESH etc…

Recently USA has invested 1 billion dollars for treatment.

In PAKISTAN there are 30 patients who have been affected with CoV.

Since this virus popped up officials could only say that it likely hopped from an animal. In new study researchers found the main cause in addition to discussed earlier in BATS

SYMPTOMS:

CoV symptoms may contain

      Runny Nose

      Headache

      Cough

      Sore throat

      Fever

      General feeling of being unwell

      Pneumonia

      Bronchitis

TRANSMISSION:

CoV can be transmitted by

      The air by coughing & sneezing

      Close personal contact such as touching  & shaking hands

      Rarely facial contamination

Young children & adult old aged people are more likely to get CoV virus as they have weak immune system

PRECAUTIONS:

  Some precautionary measure can be adopted to get secured of it

      Wash your hands with soap at least for 20 secs

      Avoid touching your eyes nose with unwashed hands

      Avoid close contact with infected person

      Stay home

      Avoid gatherings

      Cover the mouth while sneezing & coughing

      Clean the objects & surfaces & disinfect them

These measures are also for the victims.

TREATMENT:

           However its permanent treatment has not been discovered yet but china has proclaimed to cure its first patient. Proper vaccination are under research but some homeopathic medicines are being proved beneficial.

Virus neutralizing antibodies have been detected in sera of sheep goats & rabbits.

 

But one should also

      Take pain & fever medications

      Do not give aspirin to children

      Take a hot bath

      Drink plenty of liquids

      Stay home & rest

      Use mask.

Consult your family doctors

THREAT

It’s not more threatful if you are younger than 50’s  and if you are living in Asia then the chances likely to get corona virus also decreases more .

But unfortunately if you get corona virus then the chances of recovery are more than to get died with it. But precautions are better…
